Michigan’s Best Beer Guide is finally available and my book tour of brewpubs is about to begin. The book, a roadtrip guide to the breweries of Michigan, is a hefty thing: 1 pound 5 ounces, and nearly an inch thick. Don’t drop this on your foot. Michigan’s Best Beer GuideNearly 140 breweries, each with their own 2-3 pages and many photos. Signature pages — like a passport — in back so you can get it signed and dated when you visit each brewer. These signatures also correspond to Special Offers (trinkets and beer discounts) from the brewers when you get the book signed. Maybe half the brewers participated, but it is definitely worth way more than the $16.95 cover price!
Come out and get a copy as my book tour hits 15 Michigan breweries in 11 days right before the holidays. I can’t say it’s a stocking stuffer — it wouldn’t fit — but for the craft beer fan in your life, it’s going to be a cherished glove compartment companion. Just like Wisconsin’s Best Beer Guide, but more Michigan-y.
